You Cannot Force God

Your actions, attitudes, or accomplishments will not move God to love you or save you. It was by God’s own will that He showed the world who He is and what He can do, His sovereign will to save all people.

PROPHECY:

Thus Says The LORD,

There is nothing you can do to earn My love. I have loved you before you were born. I thought of you before the world was created. I knew you and desired you before anyone thought of you. You are valuable and wanted. I have always desired a relationship with you.

You do not need to strive for acceptance, for I accept you. You do not need to prove your love, for I already love you and accept you. There is nothing more you can do. No amount of work will ever compel Me to bless you and show My kindness to you.

Before your first breathe I was already smiling upon you. I was already drawing you to Myself. I have already set plans in place for you to learn about Me. I have orchestrated everything for you to know Me.

My love I freely give, not based on merit. It is what I give because I love. My kindness is given to lead you to repentance, for you to know Me. I have seen all sin and still I love you. I have seen and heard everything, yet, I do not judge or condemn.

My love for you is everlasting if you will receive it. If you will continue to let My Holy Spirit stay close to you, My presence will be known. I do not hide Myself from My children. If you will seek Me, you will find Me, for this is a promise I made and will keep.

No accomplishment will make you good enough, no action will change how I love you; no attitude will alter My desire for you. Though sin does have consequences and My justice will prevail. I will always love regardless of what one does, for nothing can separate any person from My love.

I am not compelled to do anything, though I do everything based on My sovereignty. I choose to express My love to you and will continue to do so.

Says The LORD.

MESSAGE:

God does not do anything because we pressure Him into something. God has a free will and He does everything according to His will. God is not compelled to do anything. He freely chooses to do what He wants based on His sovereignty. God does not promise an explaination for why He does anything. He expects all people to trust Him.

God does promise to always work on our behalf and has promised to offer mercy and compassion. God’s ultimate purpose is to bring people to a place of knowing Him. Trusting Him and keeping Him as your supreme God. He does not want any other object receiving His glory and praise.

A person can choose to live however they want and no matter how wicked they may be, God will always express His love. This love does not mean consequences will not come. The love of God is given, because God is love and that is what God does. Though in His righteousness, He will give justice. When God does something, it is based on His Will and not ours.

Isaiah 48:9-11 (NKJV)

[9] “For My name's sake I will defer My anger,
And for My praise I will restrain it from you,
So that I do not cut you off.

[10] Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

[11] For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it;
For how should My name be profaned?
And I will not give My glory to another.

Your actions, attitudes, or accomplishments will not move God to love you or save you. It was by God’s own will that He showed the world who He is and what He can do, His sovereign will to save all people. God never does anything based on your actions or good intentions. It is only because He loves you and based on His forgiving nature. You are enough to God. You are His special possession.

God chooses to love you and calls you to be like Him. Though in Isaiah 48:10, God communicates that He uses the furnace of affliction to try us. This trying or testing is used to bring out the worst in us. This is so we can see what needs to be removed from our lives. God then grows us from these afflictions by the Holy Spirit working in our hearts as we humble ourselves to Him.

This type of method develops us to live a life that is pleasing to God. The good works that follow are a result of God working in our lives by the Holy Spirit. Though the good work themselves do not move God to bless us or reward us. The works are evidence of our love for God and desire to please Him.

God is also more willing to show us compassion and mercy to help grow us to maturity. He desires everyone to know His kindness over His judgements.

Psalms 103:8-10 (NKJV)

[8] The LORD is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

[9] He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.

[10] He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

The Bible communicates very clearly how God is willing to forgive the most horrendous sin, any act against humanity. This does not mean He condones the action, but rather, judges it according to His Will. God always brings justice even when we think justice has not been given. Though His first desire is to show love and mercy. He is more willing to extend His mercy, which covers a multitude of sins, before casting judgement. He even goes further and calls His people to do the same.

Psalms 106:8 (NKJV) [8] Nevertheless He saved them for His name's sake, that He might make His mighty power known.

Everything that God does, is for Him to reveal His power. Every act of forgiveness, reveals His heart. God wants all people to know His love. He wants everyone to understand how much He cares for people.

His forgiveness is always present because He does not want any person to perish or be separated from Him for eternity.

God never intended for any person to be cast to hell. Hell was created only for the devil and his angels. Though when a person does not repent, they are saying, Satan is who I follow. Therefore, the judgement that Satan will receive, will be extended to each person who does not repent.

In Matthew 25:41 (NKJV) we see that Hell was made for Satan.[41] “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

What is interesting is how Jesus then communicates those who will be rejected by Him in the following verses. Matthew 25:42-46 (NKJV) [42] ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; [43] ‘I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ [44] “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ [45] “Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ [46] “And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

We are called to be like Jesus to those around us. Not for what we can get from God, or even to try and convince God to do something for us. Rather, based on our love for God, we should be willing to bless those around us.

A relationship with God is summed up in the following. John 13:34-35 (NKJV) [34] “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. [35] “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

As we yield to the Holy Spirit, we are displaying a life of Jesus. Jesus walked the earth yielded to the Holy Spirit, giving us an example to follow. The Holy Spirit will always point to Jesus. No person who is truly yielded to the Holy Spirit will point to themselves or make any self-exaltation.

This is why it is important that we live a life continually yielded to the Holy Spirit. Everyone needs to see the love of God in our lives and how committed we are to Him. Not for what we can get from God, or for any attempt to compel God to do something in return. Rather, only because we love Yahweh and want His love displayed through us.
