Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
[5] Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;[6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

When we hear the word trust, most of us question the word trust. It may be due to our trust being broken in a thing or person. This makes it hard to trust again. It may have been due to putting our trust in ourselves when making a decision and not relying on the Holy Spirit to lead us and the decision failed.

Today the Lord is telling us in his word to trust him. The verse says, "trust in the Lord with all thine heart", not half, but "all", everything, and not to even lean on our own understanding. Even our understanding may fail us.

Our Heavenly Father is all knowing, He sees all and knows all. God is not like man, His thoughts are not our thoughts neither are His ways our ways. "As heaven is higher than the earth so are My ways higher than yours and My thoughts higher than yours" (ref. Isaiah 55:8-9).

God has not and never will fail us. His trust is 100% guaranteed, tried and true. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. Our trust might have been broken or tried in ways of trusting in something or someone and we tell ourselves we can never trust again, but thank God He is not like man.

Verse 6 reminds us, "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths". When we acknowledge the Lord we are making known His existence, we allow Him to take over and be in control of our lives. We are letting Him know we trust Him with everything and He loves us so much to lead us in every area of our lives.

Thus Says The LORD,

TRUST ME...
Trust Me for I care for you
Trust Me for I love you
Trust Me for I know the plans I have for you, they are of good and not evil. A plan to give you an expected end.
Trust Me for I know the future
Trust Me for all things are working out for your good
Trust Me for I have engraved you in the palm of my hands
Trust Me for who I am

Says the LORD, the I AM THAT I AM
