One God

PROPHECY:

Thus Says The LORD,

Name a god that has ever given everything for you? What other god has suffered for you? No other god can see, hear, or speak. What other god heals? What other god breaks bondage? What other god conquered death and the grave?

I, the LORD, who created you, gave up everything, humbled Myself to suffer for you. I endured hardship. I was slandered, treated as a liar, and mocked. I was beaten and ridiculed by those who thought they were righteous. I let My creation hate Me, while I loved. I did not respond with hate or vengeance, only love. What other god has done this for you?

When I say I know your pain, I've lived it and understand. I am not distant from you, or without understanding. I am sympathetic and compassionate. For when I see your brokenness, I know what it feels like. What other god can sympathize like Me?

No other god can prophecy through someone and speak to your hurt. No other god can prophecy through a person and give you hope. The reason is simple, says the LORD, all other gods are mute.

All other gods lack sympathy because they have never endured suffering for you. All other gods lack compassion, for they have no love for you. How can you receive love from something that doesn't live? How can a god be real when they do not speak, hear, or see?

What other god died, went to hell for three days, and was raised from the dead? No other god died for you, then was raised from the dead. No other god has power over death. How can any other god give eternal life, asks the LORD, when they can't give life?

I am the only God who was raised from the dead; therefore, I am the only God who can offer eternal life. To receive everlasting life, you have to be raised to life. You cannot have life after death if there is no life to offer. Only a god who can conquer death and raise someone from the dead can offer life eternal. What other god has proven to be greater than death?

Do not be deceived, for I, the LORD, have given everything for you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in My image. You were created for Me and by Me, for My glory. You are enough, you are everything I wanted. I am the beginning and the end. I will always be, and My reign will have no end.

Says the LORD.

MESSAGE:

Yahweh is the only God who can relate to us. We know this because of the following scripture.

Hebrews 2:18 (NKJV)
[18] For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

Hebrews 5:8 (NKJV)
[8] though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

1 Peter 2:21-24 (NKJV)
[21] For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: [22] "Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth"; [23] who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; [24] who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Jesus' suffering shows His love and also His ability to heal. If Jesus were not God, he would not be able to make the claim, "by whose stripes you were healed". Jesus is the only God who can offer genuine healing. This proves that He sees and perceives our pain and suffering. This also sets Him apart from all other gods. No other god can heal incurable diseases. The healing that Jesus gives has not been duplicated by any other god.

We even know that God has opened blind eyes. What other god has done this?

Psalms 146:8 (NKJV)
[8] The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; The LORD raises those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous.

Jesus, God in the flesh, is the only one to ever go to Hades and be resurrected. This means He is the only One to prove to have the power of death. No other god can claim this.

Acts 2:29-33 (NKJV)
[29] "Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. [30] "Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, [31] "he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. [32] "This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. [33] "Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

Yahweh is the only God who can see, hear, and speak. He is Jesus, Jehovah, Adonai. He is the only God who understands and relates to us. No matter how many times someone says something about another religion, speaks about a different god, and tries to prove their god is superior. They cannot prove their god, which is a false god, can heal, raise the dead, or relate. No other god can claim what Jesus can claim.

John 14:6 (NKJV)
[6] Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 3:16 (NKJV)
[16] "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Acts 4:12 (NKJV)
[12] "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

It does not matter how loud someone screams about another god or religion. The evidence is in the results. In this case, the results are in what Jesus has done and is doing. Since there is no other god who has proven to raise anyone from the dead, that god is therefore dead.

Common sense would say that, unless one can do it to themselves, it cannot be done to another. For example, if I cannot tie my own shoe, I am unable to tie your shoe. If I cannot purchase something for myself, I cannot buy something for you. Just like it is understood naturally that we must first be able to do something for ourselves before doing something for another. It is the same when offering eternal life.

Allah could not raise himself from the dead, which is why he never came in the flesh and died. Allah has not proven to be greater than death. This concludes that Allah has not raised Mohammed from the dead; therefore, Mohammed is dead along with Allah. Eternal life is not offered by Allah because death has to be conquered first before life can be given. Without a resurrection, one is still dead.

Without the resurrection, there is no forgiveness of sin. Jesus had to die, rise again, to offer forgiveness. The resurrection proves that Yahweh is greater than death, can forgive sin, and is the only God who can legitimately offer eternal life.

1 Corinthians 15:12-19 (NKJV)
[12] Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? [13] But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. [14] And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. [15] Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. [16] For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. [17] And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! [18] Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. [19] If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.

This passage proves that Jesus is the only God who can forgive sin and offer eternal life.

Even Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism will not attempt to make a claim to have power over death, which is why these religions believe in reincarnation. These gods have no power over death, resulting in the next best thing, reincarnation.

Jesus is above all other gods because of the evidence of His life, death, and resurrection. This makes the following claims in 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 (NKJV) accurate and true. [4] Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. [5] For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), [6] yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

Colossians 1:15-17 (NKJV)
[15] He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. [16] For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. [17] And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Your entire being is held together by Jesus. Without Jesus, the universe would fall apart. There is not, and never will be, a god who can make any claim that Jesus has made. Only Jesus has fulfilled every word by action, proving Himself to be the Almighty.
