PROPHECY:

Thus Says The LORD,

I love you and desire you to know, My love. My love is given that you will desire Me. I gave everything for you to know Me. I do not withhold My kindness from you.

All I ask is for you to have faith. I want you to trust Me; take Me at My word. I am not a man, that I should lie. My body was beaten for you to receive My love.

When you pray to Me. Trust that I will hear and answer. Do not doubt My word. Do not let unbelief keep you from My healing. Do not be double-minded. I will answer, and you will receive from Me; just have faith.

You are My beloved, and I know what you are going through. I have made a promise never to leave you. I have committed Myself to you. I will hear and answer your prayers. Do not lose heart, and do not let doubt cloud your judgment. Trust My word; take Me at My word.

Every person who believes in Me, has faith in Me, trusts Me to act and fulfill My word, always receives from Me.

It is easy to go through suffering and think I do not understand. To look at your current situation and believe there is no hope. I have not left you hopeless. I understand and know all things.

When you find yourself needing healing or deliverance. Trust Me to act. Pray to Me. Seek Me, and have faith that I will meet you where you are.

You are special to Me, and I desire you to look to Me to fulfill your needs.

There is no other God that has given everything for you. There is no other God that cares about you. I am the only God, the One true God. The One who created you for Myself. I will keep you and hold you in My hand. I am listening and watching you. I want you to know Me and experience My love for you.

I will heal and deliver; I have made and continue to keep these promises.

Says The LORD.

MESSAGE:

When Jesus died on the cross, He set the captives free. There is no more bondage. Sickness and disease were defeated; death no longer has a sting. Jesus lived a life healing people during His 3 ½ years of ministry. Jesus set an example for us to follow.

Jesus wants to heal people. The Word of God gives us a clear picture of Jesus performing miracles. After Jesus was crucified, the apostles healed people and performed miracles.

Healings of any kind are only done by the Holy Spirit working through a person. The Holy Spirit gives boldness to speak and the word of God.

In Acts 4:29-31 (NKJV), we read, [29] "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, [30] "by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." [31] And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

God chooses to work miracles through people, and it is stated in scripture that people were inclined to receive the word of God because of the miracles that were performed. Acts 15:12 (NKJV) [12] Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles.

We read in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 (NKJV) that it is only because of the Holy Spirit that the working of miracles are performed. [7] But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: [8] for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, [9] to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, [10] to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. [11] But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

No person can take credit for a healing being performed. It is only because God loves us that He heals and delivers. Though faith is a requirement to receive healing and deliverance.

Galatians 3:5 (NKJV) [5] Therefore, He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?—

Scripture communicates many times that faith has made a person well.

Luke 17:19 (NKJV) [19] And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well."

Luke 8:48 (NKJV) [48] And He said to her, "Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace."

Mark 10:52 (NKJV) [52] Then Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.

Mark 5:34 (NKJV)

[34] And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction."

Faith, in the simplest sense, is trust. Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) [1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We cannot hope for something unless we have faith that it will happen. This is what God is telling us in His word. He wants us to trust Him to keep His promises. One of His promises is He is our healer.

To say that we believe the word of God is to say that we obey it. How can we believe something and not obey it? This means that we do not just obey the word of God, but we trust its authenticity because we have faith that God is who He says He is.

Everything goes back to having faith, the substance of our hope. Our hope is that we are saved and will inherit eternal life. Another hope is that God will heal us now, as we have trust in His word.

The word faith in Hebrews 11:1 is Strong's G4102, the Greek word πίστις pistis, pis'-tis; it means moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation:--assurance, belief, believe, faith,

Unless we have a moral conviction that God is who He says He is, we do not honestly believe Him. In fact, we cannot believe that He will heal us because it is impossible to have faith in someone you do not trust.

We can go to church all our lives and never receive a healing. The reason is we do not have the moral conviction to take God at His word. It is easier to profess salvation than it is to believe God will keep His word. Do we really trust God to act upon our faith?

God wants to heal us. Nowhere in the scripture do we see Jesus ever saying, "I will not heal you." The scripture only communicates that Jesus could not do mighty miracles because of unbelief.

Mark 6:5-6 (NKJV) [5] Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. [6] And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.

Jesus is waiting for us to trust Him. Have faith that He will heal us.

Another reason some people never receive healing is irreverence towards God. We have to reverence God. If we do not honor the LORD, we treat Him as common, or He is unimportant. Irreverence will block healing.

To honor the LORD also means that we honor His sacrifice for us. By the sacrifice of Jesus, we are told in scripture healing is available. Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV) [5] But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Jesus not only forgives us for our sins. He also died to give us healing. All He wants us to do is trust and have faith in Him.

There is no formula. All we do is pray and believe. Knowing that God will fulfill His promise to us. God wants to bless us. He wants us to know His love. All of the goodness of God is given to us by His love. The love of God extends to us everything good from God.
