God's Masterpiece
You were created by God as His masterpiece.

Have you ever seen a piece of artwork that was so breathtaking and you wonder to yourself who drew that piece of art? Or said, the artist is skillful? You then say to yourself that is a masterpiece.
Well, have you ever thought of yourself as Gods masterpiece? A beautiful art crafted by God himself our creator. In Ephesians 2:10NLT says “For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
A masterpiece cannot be duplicated it is unique and only that piece has value. Do you know what seals the deal on a masterpiece? It is when the artist puts their signature on it, that is what makes it authentic.
To break down Ephesians 2:10 it says “for we are Gods masterpiece,” we are the authentic piece of art of God. “He has created us anew in Christ Jesus,” we can only be a masterpiece created in Jesus, Jesus puts a seal on us. We are new creatures. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
In Jesus Christ we can do the good things he has planned for us long ago. We can only do the good things through the power of Christ as the Holy Spirit resides on the inside of us. The word of God says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. We can never rely on our own strength. There is only so much we can handle in our strength but if we depend on the Lord, he empowers us to do even more than our human mind can do.
What makes any artwork stand out is the artist who created it because without the artist there would not be any art to see. So, it is the same with us, as a believer in Christ, without our creator, our source of salvation, we will not be a masterpiece. We will not be significant, we will not be authentic, we will not have purpose, we will not be impactful, we will not be useful, we will not be able to fulfill the will of the Lord without Him. Through Jesus Christ we are made new, he puts a seal on us that we are his children, set aside ready to be used for his good works.
