God Is Full Of Compassion

Psalms 86:15 (NKJV)
[15] But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious,
Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

The word compassion means to have a deep awareness of and sympathy for another's suffering.

God is more willing to love us through our sin than to condemn us in our sin. He is full of compassion, showing great sympathy toward us. He knows our struggles and our mistakes. There is no malice with God.

God is always ready to forgive and show abundant mercy to those who call upon Him. He is willing to answer every person who seeks Him. In answering, He will show love and not hold our sins against us.

Many people portray God as one who is adamant about condemning sin. They use scare tactics and make it seem like God wants to scare the hell out of us. This causes people to be afraid of God. With a mindset of thinking God is against us and only focused on judging us. This approach tends to keep people distant from God due to fear.

God rather loves the hell out of us. He will use kindness to lead us out of hell. When scare tactics are used, people may be afraid to sin, though they are not delivered. Leading them to continue to sin. Though when God in His love touches a person. The person gets delivered because they experience a God who loves them and is willing to love them through addiction. Bringing them to a place of experiencing His love.

God does not work in our lives to make us afraid of Him. He works in our lives so we know His love and understand His desire for a relationship. God uses love to destroy self-hatred, the feelings of worthlessness, and rejection. God knows people want to be loved, He created mankind and knows the desire for acceptance in every person.

Let God love you today and give Him the opportunity to express His love that frees you from addiction, anger, rejection, guilt, shame, condemnation and other feelings and emotions that plague you.

Thus Says The LORD,

I have loved you before you were conceived in the womb. I created you in the womb for Myself. I have loved you before anyone ever thought about you. I always wanted you and desired an intimate relationship with you. You are wanted, loved, desired, and will always be the apple of My eye.

I am willing to forgive you and love you. I choose to not condemn you, but rather express My love to you. I know it is not easy to trust Me when so much pain is felt. I know it is not easy to seek Me when hurt is all that is known.

I have always wanted you and desired that you have an intimate relationship with Me. I have promised to always be with you. Never to forsake you or leave you.

It is not easy to let go of pain and hurt. It is not easy to let love be received, when hurt has cut so deep. I know what each person goes through. You are My child, made in My image, one I have always desired.

Let Me love you today and you will know that I have always been with you.
