Desire God

Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV)
[13] And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

God desires us and wants a relationship with us. Though He leaves it to people to desire Him. He will not force anyone to seek Him. He is always available to all who take the time to want Him.

When we do not seek God, we are not making Him a priority. We have to make time for God. It does not have to be hours, though there has to be a time in your day when you make Him your focus.

Humility is key to having a relationship with God. Humility brings us closer to God, for it shows we are aware of our need for God. Humility keeps us in a place of recognizing our position and that we are not in control of everything.

The prophets throughout the Bible knew they needed God and they understand that the people needed to seek God. They understood the importance of repentance. Through repentance a relationship with God discovered.

Thus Says The LORD,

To know Me and have Me in your life. Is only done by giving Me time to be in your life. You have to seek Me to give Me time. I have promised to make Myself known to everyone, though many people do not have a relationship with Me, because I am not their focus.

It is through a relationship with My Spirit that you are able to enjoy My presence. It is by My Spirit that you develop a relationship with Me. I am drawing people to Myself. I am desiring a relationship with all people. I desire you to know Me.

I have not made it difficult to be close to Me. I have only made it important. If a person does not take the time to seek Me, then I am not a priority.

I desire you and ask you to desire Me.
